Caer Fandry - Long ago, a small town was formed by Orcs in the place now called Caer Fandry. Though it is unclear, there are many that believe that the Dark Elves that now live there are the descendents of the original Orcs. However, there are those that tell a different story of their history. They believe that the Dark Elves of Drear Valley felt that their land was being encroached by humans. Not liking any human, they moved to the swamplands and stayed until the present in Caer Fandry. And, even though that was long ago, they still dislike and mistrust all but their own kind. There are rumors of a slithering beast that attacks travelers along the banks of the loch, so be very careful if you decide to take a walk along the water.

Kurz - The people of Kurz say the town is full of evil and Dark magic. They dont take kindly to strangers putting their noses where they don't belong. Some of the people worship the god Elphame while others worship Duache. It is best to keep who you worship to yourself. It is also best to mind your won business and watch your purse while in Kurz, for the town is filled with Thieves, Rogues, and murderers alike. And they are ready to harm at the slightest provocation. You might even get cheated by a shopkeep or two so be aware of how much items go for. It is best not to ask too many questions for you might wind up with a fate worse then death. It is said that even the town Constable is corrupt. So keep yer mind about ye and dont stay too long. The Killing Fields is to the east of this town. There you might find Fuloran's Abode where great treasures are said to be guarded by a giant cyclops. To the west is Targoth's Tomb, home of ghastly and unclean beings who revel in all manner of unsavory activities.

Usk - Populated predominantly by giants, Usk is a friendly village in the northeast reaches of The Realm. There is an ancient myth that tells of a giant lost in the depths of the dark forest, who finally found his way out by a strange light in the skies above a grassy clearing. This light is now known as the Aurora Encantata, a light that streaks across the sky and bestows magical powers on all that stand under its glow. The giant, whose name is lost in the Mists, soon emigrated with his family and a group of artisans from their native village of Bath and founded Usk along the shores of the lake by the clearing. Usk is said to be a place of great magic and there are frequent rumors of a ghostly fleet, the Mendulan Faery Armada, appearing out of the fog over the lake. The forests south of Usk are filled with Trolls and Ogres. There are rumors that they ruled by an Ogre King who dwells in a cave hidden deep with the forest called Eastern Ogre Caverns.
