Asgard - Asgard is one of the Ancient Towns in the Realm in which Bravery and Strength are admired. It is also famed for its beauty and culture. Home of the Courageous, Asgardians will fight at any excuse, so beware and keep your magic or sword handy. For this reason, they worship Finvarra, the god of bravery, strength, courage and war. He gives them Strength and Courage and there is a rumor that he favors this town above all others. Originally, the land was repeatedly invaded by the fierce tribes of the from beyond the sea, the Northmen. These fearsome warriors would arrive in their Long Ships and attack at will. Over time, many of the children they fathered in the area, grouped together and became an effective fighting force. Finally, after several Armadas of ships were sunk by blood-soaked Asgardians, the Northmen gave up an Asgard as a place for plunder. To the East of Asgard is Fenris Caves where you can fight all the wolves and fenri you desire for their treasure and their prized pelts. Three East of Asgard, and South until you get there, is Beral's Supply Store, the place where you can get the rare supplies for Smithing and Alchemy.
Murias - Long ago, the Village of Murias was formed by a group of families that formed a farming cooperative. It is a fertile place where everything grows in plenty. They grow a crop called cotton that makes the fine clothing which they wear. It is their best and finest material and is wanted all over the Realm for its sturdiness and beauty. The people of Murias do not use much magic. They are fighters mostly and will do so if provoked. The food they grow is harvested daily and is the best in all of the Realm. It is said that Murias has the finest cooks in the land, so you should come and sit and dine, it is a treat you will not soon forget. If you have allergies this is the place where you should live. It is a clean, nice little town and the air is fresh. The people here are very friendly and enjoy visiting with the travelers who pass through. It is a peaceful place to settle if you decide you need a change. Beware though, 2 west of the Teleporter and one south is a Thieves Hole where many Thieves hide-out. Please take extra precaution when going there. You never know what you might wind up losing.
Wen - Perhaps the smallest village in the Realm is Wen. It is a rural town where the people tend to keep to themselves. They are followers of Enid and are friendly when approached. It is one of the the most tranquil places in the land. South of Wen lies the vast wilderness known as The Wild Beyond, home of imps and evil faeries, and the location of many caves and dungeons, such as The Barracks, The Supply Store South, Tor's Crypt, Imp City, Imp Haven, and the grisly Festering Hate Pool.
Arimathor - At the edge of the northwestern desert, lies the City of Gypsies, Arimathor. Long ago the area was green farmlands called Hereford. It is said that a powerful wandering wizard passed through the area and cursed it so that it became a desert wasteland. Some time later, the ancient Gold, Melkior caused underground springs to surface and become a constant source of water. The friendly Gypsies that live here follow the higher ways taught by Melchior. They are extremely proud of their cactus gardens and cool fountains. South of Arimathor, the bold and daring may find the infamous Church of Damnation, a gastly cavern hidden in the desert wherein daemons are said to conjure forth the undead. These foul spawn of the dark arts are said to travel through the streets of Arimathor on moonless nights, seeking their way to The Undead Stronghold which lies in the far reaches of the northwest desert.
