Psychic Orb Produces one orb per proficiency level of caster.
Each orb will strike target for 2-7 points of psychic damage.

Warp Mind Target will take 12 x caster’s proficiency psychic damage. Instant (Combat) 5
Spell Blast Next spell cast by target opponent will be countered. Only counters spells up to caster proficiency. Instant (Combat) 10
Etheralize Will make you like a wraith, unable to be harmed by non-ethereal weapons, for a certain duration. Unimplemented. Spellbook is not available in shops, must be found. Instant (Combat) 5

Anti-Magic Aura Suppresses all casting in combat for a duration of turns up to a maximum of the caster's abilities with a 50 percent chance of the aura dissolving each round. Spellbook is not available in shops, must be found. 5 rounds 18
Mabon's Forced Flee All opponents are forced to flee combat. Spellbook is not available in shops, must be found. Instant (Combat) 10,000

Mysticism Spells:

  • You can only be affected by one mind control spell at a time.
  • The duration of mind control spells is based solely on the mysticism skill of the caster. The system no longer compares the intelligence of the caster vs. the target with these spells.
  • Once a mind control spell is cast, the target receives mysticism immunity for some number of combat rounds. The number of immunity rounds is based on the number of rounds that the target is controlled and the nature of the spell. You will see a "Myst Immunity" indicator over the target's head. That indicator tells you how many rounds of immunity remain on that target. Any mind control spells cast on the target while immunity is in effect will fail.
  • If a mind control spell is dispelled, the target's immunity count will be halved.
  • The Amulet of Free Will has modified properties. Look at the description of your amulet to see the changes.
  • Direct-target mind control spells (i.e. hold monster, stun) have had their speed increased. This does not apply to mass spells.
  • All mind control spell durations are based on the SDM of the caster. The higher your SDM, the higher the duration of the mind control spell. Conversely, the lower your SDM (poor giants) the lower the duration of the mind control spell.
  • Mass mind control spells have been given more random durations to even out their massive power.
