The Barracks
Suggested Level Range: Low to Mid: (50-299)
(From Usk teleport: 14 South and 4 West)
A dungeon that can test the lower level, this one is filled with groups which require different strategies to defeat.
Church of Damnation:
Suggested Level Range: Low (75-200)
(In Ascetos Desert, from Arimathor teleport: 1 East and 4 South)
A good dungeon that can be quickly completed by the high level player. A couple of good fights in here but also several real bores. All too often the chest at the end of the excursion, after the climax battle, is empty so don’t expect too much in the way of magical treasure.
Daemon Home:
Suggested Level Range: High (71+)
(In The Barrens, from Drune teleport: 14 East, 14 South and 3 East)
At one time this was the king of dungeons. It has lost nothing that made it a great place for the high level player but frequent excursions into this one have made it stale. Large dungeon that requires a significant amount of time to complete.
Dark Gauntlet:
Suggested Level Range: High (71+)
(In The Wild Beyond, from Wen teleport: 1 South, 1 East, and 18 South)
The effects of praying at the altar (click on the altar and select Pray) vary depending on your alignment. Evil through Pure Evil receive Duach's Mark, good for 6 hours of 90% immunity to Poison, shown by pure black hair and red eyes. Saintly thru Good receive Duach's Curse, 6 hours of immunity to Shield Magic, shown by yellow skin with no face.
Enid's Safe Haven:
Suggested Level Range: Middle (26-70)
(In Emerald Forest, from Caer Fandry teleport: 2 West, 10 South and 1 West)
One of the few dungeons available to player that wishes to remain evil. If you are comfortable killing Seraphs this is the place.
Faery Caverns:
Suggested Level Range: Low (1-25)
(In South Havenwood, from West Leinster teleport: 3 East, 3 South and 4 East)
The second of the two dungeons available to the evil player. This one is a low-level romp, large in area but sparse in critters and treasure. Formerly the home of Goodwin’s Magical Rarities, now closed to business. Expect to spend well over an hour to complete this one - and to come out not much better off than you went in.
Fenris Caves:
Suggested Level Range: Middle (26-70)
(In Wandering Wood, from Asgard teleport: 9 East)
A favorite for the mid-level player. Good financial rewards from all the pelts and, for lower mid-level players, decent experience. Can be fully explored in about an hour.
Festering Hate Pool:
Suggested Level Range: High (71+)
(In Wild Beyond, from Wen teleport: 15 South and 8 East)
One of the better dungeons for the high level player. Large groups of tough adversaries abound yielding good experience and good financial rewards. Allow 1.5 to 2 hours to fully complete this one.
Forgotten Dungeon:
Suggested Level Range: Middle (26-70)
(In Emerald Forest, from Caer Fandry teleport: 1 West, 15 South and 2 West)
Bring along a loaf of bread for Jobo. This one is reportedly one of the great magical treasure caches where wraths and boots of nimbility can be found. Gotta jump through a lot of hoops to get to the treasures however as groups of low level undead abound. Expect to spend about 45 minutes to run through the whole dungeon.
Fuloran's Abode:
Suggested Level Range: High (71+)
(In Killing Fields, from Kurz teleport: 2 North and 9 East)
Quick and deadly. Only the truly high level player need apply for admittance. Expect to spend 15 to 30 minutes fighting the two battles available here. Reportedly magical treasures are often found in the final room - if you can get Fuloran to let you in.
Holy Caves:
Suggested Level Range: High (71+)
(In The Downs, from Monmouth teleport: 5 North)
High levels only. This one is a pain, in several respects. The inhabitants are hard to kill (unless you have a good Death Wish spell on your side), the experience gained for killing them is unequal to the effort required and the treasure found tends to be mediocre. Due to the lengthy battles this one can take 2 or more hours to complete. If you have both Death Wish and Fumble working for you, Holy Caves can be quite the bonanza. Many players run through just the first 5 fights (rooms 000, 001, 051, 050, 055), carrying minimal equipment (including no weapons), and using Fumble and Death Wish to gain both gold (from all the admantium swords the Guardians drop) and acceptable experience in a relatively short amount of time.
Imp City:
Suggested Level Range: Middle (26-70)
(In Wild Beyond, from Wen teleport: 1 South, 1 East and 8 South)
One of the best dungeons for the mid-level player. Don’t expect much in the way of magical treasures here but enough goods can be hauled out to make a respectable profit. Takes an hour to an hour and a half to fully complete.
Imp Haven:
Suggested Level Range: High (71+)
(In Wild Beyond, from Wen teleport: 10 South and 13 East)
King Kilrogs make this seemingly mid-level dungeon a high-level affair. The high level critters guard the approach to a sarcophagus that has been known to hold some of the most valuable magic items in the game. The rest of the dungeon is appropriate for the mid-level player.
The Labyrinth:
Suggested Level Range: Middle (26-70)
(In Devon's Forest, from Silverbrook teleport: 7 West and 6 North)
Home of Marvin’s Superstore. Critter-wise, this one has a little bit of just about everything. Great place for the high low-level to low mid-level player. Expect to spend well over an hour to fully explore.
Lesser Hive:
Suggested Level Range: Low (1-25)
(In Bloodwood, from East Leinster teleport: 16 East and 5 South)
Great place for the low level player to begin his dungeon crawling career, just make sure you have a means of curing poison and enough health points to take a few hits before you attempt this one. Also highly advantageous to have immolation working for you here.
Naktos' Morgue:
Suggested Level Range: Low (1-25)
(In South Havenwood, from West Leinster teleport: 3 East, 4 South and 7 East)
Good place for the beginning dungeon crawler. Don’t expect great financial gains but the experience should be decent for the half-hour spent exploring here.
Ogre Caverns:
Suggested Level Range: Middle (26-70)
(In Winter Wold, from Usk teleport: 10 South and 6 East)
Good dungeon for the mid-level player. The treasures are not very valuable here but respectable experience points can be gained. If your forte is Ogre killing this is the place to go. Expect to spend an hour to an hour and a half on this one.
Snake Pit:
Suggested Level Range: High (71+)
(In Ascetos Desert, from Asgard teleport: 2 West and 2 South)
Aptly named, this one is the mother of all Realm dungeons. Dangerous and nasty, if you aren't comfortable tangling with venomous snakes don't come here. It is highly recommended that you put together strong party to tackle this hell of a dungeon.
Targoth's Tomb (aka The Bat Cave):
Suggested Level Range: Middle (26-70)
(In Leinster/Kurz Road, from Kurz teleport: 6 West)
A rather odd combination of a long low level start culminating in a high level ending. The final battle against the undead can be dangerous but if you can emerge victorious there is frequently a good treasure to be had. Good sized dungeon that takes a lot of time to fully explore but for the high level player interested only in the treasure at the end it can be done in approximately thirty minutes.
Test of the Soul:
Suggested Level Range: Middle (26-70)
(In Devon Forest, from Silverbrook teleport: 7 West, 5 South, and 1 West)
The effects of praying at the altar (click on the altar and select Pray) vary depending on your alignment. Saintly thru Good receive Enid's Mark, good for 6 hours of immunity to Death Magic, shown by pure white hair. Evil through Pure Evil receive Enid's Curse, 6 hours of immunity to Healing Magic, shown by green skin.
The Maze
Suggested Level Range: Low (50-150)
(From Usk teleport: 14 South and 4 West)
A dungeon that can test the lower level, this one is filled with groups which require different strategies to defeat.
Thieves Hole:
Suggested Level Range: Middle (26-70)
(In Wexfordshire Valley, from Murias teleport: 2 West and 1 South)
Got a grudge against the NPC thieves running amok throughout the Realm? Here you can get your revenge. Decent dungeon for the mid-level player and even though the treasures tend toward the modest side, this dungeon is renowned for yielding some of the most valued magic items.
Tor's Crypt:
Suggested Level Range: Low (1-25)
(In Wild Beyond, from Wen teleport: 19 South and 9 West)
A favorite for the low-level player. Doesn’t take too long to complete, the treasure is respectable considering the level and the experience available is good. One problem for the low-level player is getting to the dungeon. Expect to be jumped by imps during the long walk through Wild Beyond.
Troll's Haven:
Suggested Level Range: Middle (26-70)
(In Bloodwood, from East Leinster teleport: 7 East and 6 South)
An excellent dungeon for the high-mid to low-high level player. This one is short and sweet with suitable treasure and respectable experience. Can often be done in under hour.
Troll's Hideaway:
Suggested Level Range: Middle (26-70)
(In Devon's Forest, from Silverbrook teleport: 5 West and 6 North)
An nice little romp through bunch of trolls. This one is a good dungeon for the lower mid-level player.
Tulor's Caverns:
Suggested Level Range: High (71+)
(In Winter Wold, from Usk teleport: 2 South)
New commentary coming soon.
Undead Stronghold:
Suggested Level Range: High (71+)
(In Ascetos Desert, from Arimathor teleport: 4 West, 3 North, 10 West, 4 North)
Large dungeon with many branches, allow 2 to 3 hours to fully explore. As the name says, this one is populated by the undead. Most of the battles are low to mid-level affairs but there are a few that are slightly more taxing for the high level player. Treasure runs from modest to respectable.
Warrior's Abode:
Suggested Level Range: Middle (26-70)
(In Wandering Wood, from Asgard teleport: 4 West and 6 South)
A good dungeon for the mid-level player but sparse on treasure.
