Tactics
  • Asphyxiate: I completed ToS with a level 68 Wizard. If you're higher it'll be easier. All I did was Death Wish all the bigger creatures and Fireball all the groups of 5 faeries. Just go to the altar if you want... or run for the perfect roses... walking slowly or stopping will just get you ambushed, wasting your time.
  • Sahashlara: Before doing this dungeon I suggest you first go to USH (Undead Stronghold) to get to Saintly, or at least Good if you are not already there. Once in ToS, I suggest going straight for the altar (this isn't a good place for levels or treasure, so don't even bother if Enid's Blessing isn't your desire). In fights with Faeries, Summon Daemons - this prevents you from having your alignment change much. In Paladin fights and Seraph fights, just DW them until they are dead; there aren't enough to impact your alignment much, anyway. Once you hit the altar just teleport out of there, no use in exploring this dungeon except for that Perfect Rose. Have fun with the white hair. :-)
  • Jason: I know of 2 Perfect Roses in ToS. #1 is room 018, you have to fight 3 Paladins to get it. #2 is room 031, you have to fight 2 Clerics to get in and a Wizard of Light to get back out. For the rose collecters this is the easiest one to get.
  • Hagrid: Wanna get through? Go to somewhere and get saintly. Get inside and go through to the altar fighting little as possible. When you fight summmon a lot, go invis, and guard. Yet, I always seem saintly when I rush through. Oh well. Try it!
