Becoming Evil
Where to go and what to kill

Becoming Good Good and Evil
Dungeon Synopses Area Synopses

To become Evil you must kill creatures of Good alignment. Being Evil is advantageous in avoiding damage from Death Wish (wearing an Amulet of Death Magic Protection is another means of avoiding DW) but makes you more vulnerable to Wrath of the Gods (wearing an AoDMP also helps reduce the damage inflicted by WoG). If you wish to hunt high level Evil creatures it can be useful to first become Evil yourself. The following table lists all Good creatures in the The Realm.

Each step in alignment requires approximately 25 kills of creatures of the alignment opposite that toward which you are shifting. The level of the opponent does not matter, a Pixie is as good as a Paladin for shifting your alignment toward Evil. Be aware, however, that summoned creatures do not effect your alignment when you kill them, just as they do not provide you with experience. If a Faery Queen summons a group of Faeries in combat against you, and you kill them all, only the Faery Queen counts for experience and alignment.
